I had a client who was going to shoot a music video with me this particular weekend, and the gear was already rented, and I was rarin' to shoot something fun and futuristic. Unfortunately, he had to cancel, but I was determined to shoot something anyway. This was the result. I threw together a small team, found a location, and we made the best of it! Total cost (we own most equipment needed) was about $450 including food, location, and Foley. Everyone donated their time so we could have fun and make something cool. I shot this handheld on Sony A7siii using a Sirui 50mm, full-frame anamorphic lens (which I really enjoyed!), as well as a Teradek wireless monitor setup with a Tilta wireless follow focus for the focus puller.

We created this cinematic teaser to promote a book published by our client. We used source material from his book and adapted it to a screen format, selecting an enticing scene to draw viewers into the story and build interest in the novel.
